Have a sneak peek behind the scenes with the Junior Journalists at Stockton Globe.
Junior Journalists Alice, Amulya, Miles and Lakshya interviewed, photographed and filmed Rob Lindsay from Stockton Globe. The Junior Journalists, with guidance from magazine editor Sarah Dale, discussed what questions to ask prior to the interview, how best to approach the interview, photography and filming angles, and how to build a rapport with interviewees. They asked Rob about his support for the Careers Navigator programme and why empowering young people is so important.
Junior Journalism Impact Report
The Junior Journalism programme enabled schoolchildren to learn and practise journalism skills such as podcasting, interviewing techniques, and photography. Not only did they learn real-world skills, the programme also boosted other skills e.g. teamwork, project management and creative thinking, which had the added bonus of increasing confidence and self-esteem.

Alice Carruthers will be joining her parents Kat and Michael Carruthers at the annual CEO Sleepout in Sunderland from 8pm on Thursday November 6 until 6am the following morning.
